This morning we left Jackson Resort and headed to the airport to trade vehicles around.  There we saw a Fire Truck spraying water in the trees????

Lisa was in Jackson shopping, Simon was riding his bike the 40 miles into Jackson (he did 500 miles total…wow!) and the rest of us were getting settled into Jackson Hole.

Chuck, Lisa, and Patrick decided to do a rafting trip for the afternoon.  It was pretty tame for those of you who have done the Ocoee…with one exception.  The one rapid that they call Lunch Counter.  We had two rafts…the one that we were on went straight up in the air and when it came down, we had lost our guide and a gentleman in the back of the boat.  The boat behind us was not so lucky… The whole boat flipped and half of them floated down the river.  One guy scrapped up his knee, a lady was trapped for a second under the boat and one girl started hyperventilating!  Sounds like a great day rafting!  You will see a picture below of all 23 of us in one boat before they flipped the other one over.  I can say that I am proud that I went on Lisa Williamson’s LAST rafting trip!

When we got back to Jackson, we ate and strolled into town.  Then we came to find out there was a “shootout” in the middle of the town square.  There is an acting troop that works in Jackson and this is a way they promote their stage show.  They have been doing it for 55 years!  See pictures below.  Jackson really is a kind of artsy community.

Finally, we caught up with the rest of the crew and had dinner.  Still in town are Simon, Chris, Graeme, Norman, Norman’s wife and friend, Tommy, Diane, Chuck, Lisa, and Patrick.
